Water management
Saving water at Sanjay Ghodawat Group
Sanjay Ghodawat Group believes in the importance of conserving water through rainwater harvesting. Instead of letting rainwater go to waste, we collect and store it for later use. This collected water is treated to ensure its quality and then utilised for various purposes such as watering gardens, household chores, and even drinking. By implementing rainwater harvesting techniques, we aim to reduce water wastage and contribute to the sustainable management of this precious resource.
Environment
Green initiative at Sanjay Ghodawat Group
Through the Sanjay Ghodawat Foundation, the Group has shown a strong dedication to making our environment better. In 2010, we kickstarted change by planting 3,00,000 trees. Since then, our commitment has grown even stronger, we have planted over 2,50,000 trees, adding to Maharashtra and Karnataka’s green cover. But we don’t just stop there. Understanding the role cleanliness plays, we have set up ten bio-toilets to help rural communities – six in Kondigre village and four in Danoli village. This way, we are working towards a healthier and cleaner tomorrow for everyone.
