Star Localmart

Established in 2020, Ghodawat Retail Ltd., the retail arm of SGG is already making waves with its rural start-up – ‘Star Localmart’. A locally sourced, locally processed, and locally sold ecosystem, it aims to generate opportunities for local entrepreneurs and companies to exhibit their products. Star Localmart has set up 63 stores across Maharashtra and Karnataka and further plans to open 3000 stores, facilitating employment for 25,000 people by 2025.

Sanjay Ghodawat University

Sanjay Ghodawat University (SGU) emerged as a State Private University in 2017, succeeding the Sanjay Ghodawat Institutes established in 2009. Having secured an NAAC A grade and NBA accreditation, SGU was established to offer students a diverse range of career options. It provides undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs spanning various fields including Technology, Management, Commerce, Science, Liberal Arts, Architecture, Pharmacy, Computer Applications, and Law. SGU’s curriculum is tailored to meet industry demands. Additionally, it provides practical experience through initiatives like the Tata Technology Centre, Mechatronics Lab Car, BOSCH Collaboration Centre, and Centre of Space and Atmospheric Science. It was also awarded with All India 2nd Rank for Emerging Engineering Institute: Research Capability by Times Engineering survey – 2021. 

Star Air

In a dedicated effort to bolster and enhance regional connectivity, Star Air, the aviation division of SGG, was founded in 2019 under the popular RCS (UDAN) initiative. India’s regional aviation sectors are experiencing remarkable growth, and Star Air stands out as the country’s largest privately owned regional airline, committed to “Connecting Real India.” Operating primarily in Tier II and Tier III cities, Star Air distinguishes itself with its fleet of Embraer E145 and E175 aircraft, renowned for their exceptional comfort and reliability. Star Air has earned a reputation as a reliable choice for travellers nationwide, receiving recognition as the “Best RCS Airline” at Wings India 2022.

Ghodawat Consumer Ltd

In the vibrant tapestry of SGG’s journey, Ghodawat Consumer Ltd emerged as an effervescent FMCG entity in 2013. With a resolute focus on affordability and excellence, it carved out a distinctive brand persona. Mirroring its ascent, GCL soared to a remarkable revenue of INR 1600 crores in FY 22-23, setting its sights on the summit of INR 2,000 crores by FY 24-25. Expanding its horizons, GCL broadened its product constellation through strategic acquisitions, embracing TBH (To Be Honest) healthy snacks and Coolberg, a non-alcoholic beverage, to cater to discerning palates nationwide and beyond. Anchored in a relentless pursuit of innovation, GCL remains steadfast in its mission to deliver unparalleled value without compromising on affordability.

Renom

As India’s sole Independent Service Provider (ISP) managing all five wind turbine technologies, it maintains a diverse portfolio of 15 brands and 35 models, totalling 20,000MW across 7 states and 70 locations. It boasts an in-house Electronic Repair Service (ERS) Centre in Pune, ensuring swift repairs for various components. Pioneering the field, Renom developed RESCA, a SCADA system with a user-friendly dashboard for remote monitoring and control of renewable energy assets. It received the India Wind Energy Forum Leadership Award 2023, earning recognition as the ‘Company of the Year: ISP Multi-Technology’ and ‘Services Provider of the Year: Sourcing & Procurement’.

Ghodawat Realty

Founded in 1997, GRL, is the real estate arm of SGG. It was set up with a strong focus on converting houses into elegant homes and aims to deliver spaces that bring ease and comfort for a healthier and fulfilled life. With absolute transparency about every detail and dealings with customers, GRL takes pride in its credibility and reputation. GRL has constructed and successfully delivered over 4 million sq. ft. of high-quality residential and commercial projects across Maharashtra and Karnataka. GRL’s latest offering is Ghodawat Sky Star – A residential project, intended to create spaces that bring ease and luxury to its residents in Mumbai’s Goregaon West.

Ghodawat Textile, founded in 2006, operates under the ‘Star Line’ brand, producing an extensive range of premium fabrics including cotton, lycra, and linen, as well as various fancy yarns in dobby, plain, twill, drill, satin, oxford, and matt weaves. Its yearly production capacity exceeds 15 million metres.
